ArimaEco Energy Technologies Corp. (Arima Eco), which recently passed all IEC62108 indoor tests and obtained compliance from Instituto De Sistemas Fotovoltaicos De Concentracion, is focusing on building its mass production capability this year.
Sharing plans for this year, company’s spokesperson Howard Chou told CPVToday.com that ArimaEco is working on its “market orientation price strategy with CPV superiority to make the CPV product not only for niche market but to pitch as the main trade product”.
The company’s HCPV modules are used to build arrays of varying sizes depending on application needs. The arrays are mounted on dual-axis tracking frames. Its technology combines multi-junction solar cells and the high-concentration Fresnel lens into a HCPV module.
Earlier this year, the company received an official letter from ISFOC stating that Arima Eco had passed the indoor tests of IEC62108.
That time the company had mentioned that Arima Eco’s HCPV module has reached the phase of commercial mass production and it is the only Asian company to achieve this feat.
ArimaEco is one of the seven global CPV system integrators (the only one in Asia) which won the bid of the CPV power plant project at ISFOC.
The total volume of this power plant is 3MW and ArimaEco was scheduled to install its 300kW capacity by February. According to the schedule, the installation will be finished in four months.
