Belén started up CSP Today and sister company CPV Today in early 2007.
A UWC graduate representing Spain at the Mahindra United World College of India she continued her studies in Media Management before working for different media titles in Mexico and Lebanon. She then embarked upon 20 months of research into solar markets culminating in the launch of CPV & CSP Today last year. These 2 organisations are now recognised leaders in their field, providing unrivalled media coverage, business intelligence and industry events
Belén is primarily responsible for strategy, planning and new opportunities, and also looks after the Spanish speaking market.
Joshua has been with the CPV & CSP Today team since 2007, and he is consolidating our position in America and the Middle East. A graduate of International relations Josh is a keen traveler with interests in all things international. In his spare time Joshua can be found on the squash courts and is competitive in several sports.
Tinu joined the New Solar Today team in April 2009. With a keen interest in Solar Regulation her main focus has been developing New Solar Today’s Investment & Finance Events in the US and Europe. A Northampton graduate, she enjoys dancing and spending time with friends and family.
Heidi recently joined New Solar Today after graduating in Law in 2007. Before joining the team, she spent 6 months working in Beijing during the Olympic Games, as well as producing events for a Not For Profit organization in the UK. Heidi is a keen traveller looking for the next adventure, and in her spare time she likes to hunt for the best places to eat, shop and socialize in London.
Marifer has recently joined our Solar team. She is a Business Administration graduate with a Masters in International Marketing, who has worked and studied in several countries around Asia, Europe and North America. Hence she has a passion for travelling and getting to know about new cultures (and their food!). As well, she has a keen interest in sustainability.
Jim has been with New Solar Today since October 2008 and is currently responsible for sponsorship and exhibition sales in North America. A graduate of Syracuse and Columbia University Jim brings with him 20 years of experience in event management and in 2005 was recognized for his work by winning the prestigious show manager of the year award in the US. Jim has lived, traveled and worked all over the world but is always at home in the green mountains of Vermont.
Dan joined New Solar Today as part of his Marketing Management BA Honours at Oxford Brookes University and has extended his academic knowledge with a full understanding of marketing in various industries, especially Solar. When he is not contacting partners and delivering campaigns for New Solar Today Events Dan enjoys playing all sports especially football and cricket on a regular basis as well as travelling and exploring different cultures.
Patricia graduated in Law in Mexico City, and began organizing seminars and courses for a law firm. With a keen interest in Public Relations and International affairs, Patricia moved to London and worked in Media and Marketing before joining New Solar Today. She is currently responsible for Sponsorship, Marketing and looks after general enquires for CSP Today. Patricia’s interests include human rights and philosophy, spending time with friends, cooking Mexican food, cycling and travelling.
Sara runs CSP Today’s operations in the United States and Middle East. A Cambridge graduate with a keen interest in politics, sociology and economics, she joined the team in 2007 and is working to raise the company’s international profile. In her spare time Sara enjoys spending time with friends, netball and exploring London.
Carlos has recently joined CPV and CSP Today and is working toward bolstering the company’s information provision services. Carlos is interested in renewable energy and is keen on applying the skills learnt on his Economics and Politics degree to this sector. In his spare time, Carlos enjoys watching art-house films and spending his hard earned money in various weekend markets around London.
Veronica joined the CSP Today team in 2008. She is a Business and Finance graduate with an MA in Marketing and has gained a lot of experience working within a wide spectrum of companies. Veronica is an accomplished skier and in her spare time enjoys reading, socialising with her friends and meeting new people.
Sophia joined CSP Today as part of her Business Management Bsc at Surrey University and has underpinned her academic knowledge with a firm understanding of marketing in various industries, especially solar. When she is not raising the profile of CSP Today events Sophia enjoys going on many adventurous trips involving kayaking, climbing and hiking.
Michael Setters is Managing Director of the Renewable Energy Division at First Conferences and is responsible for overseeing the development of industry news portals and conferences in industries including Wind, Solar (CSP, CPV and Thin Film), Energy Efficiency, Smart Grids, DR & DSM, Wave and Tidal.
Michael enjoys sports (when not recovering from his latest injury!), reading, travelling and spending time with friends.
