OPEL International Inc. is hopeful of “a significant jump in revenue” in the first half of this year.
According to a report filed by Connecticut Business News Journal, OPEL, which had recently set up OPEL Solar Europe, a limited liability company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, is expecting growth opportunities in Canada, where the Ontario legislature recently introduced the Green Energy Act 2009, which includes the development of a feed-in tariff programme.
The report added that OPEL is yet to turn a profit, but Frank Middleton, vice president of marketing for the company, and company’s CFO Michael McCoy expect it will manage to do so by the end of the calendar year.
